Tencent創辦人之一 Charles Chen Yidan創立了全球獎金最高的教育獎。總共有兩個獎項，可以獲得一年八百萬美金的資金。
美國大學像是哈佛以及MIT都已經提出幾項研究計畫。但是 Chen Yidan 說，獎項不見得只會給國際知名大學校，只要證明有效，可以在其它地區複製，就算是地方性的小計畫，也是可以獲獎。
scale up: to increase, to expand
whole person development: the development of a person's character as well as attaining academic achievements
rote-learning: a type of learning that emphasises memorisation
inundated with nominations: to be flooded with nominations
Dragons' Den or Shark Tank: these are both TV shows about start-up competitions
their foot in the door: if you have a 'foot in the door' when you are looking for a job, you have an advantage over other applicants
